Arrival in Mersing at 4am....about 20 mins before we arrived in mersing, we quickly got out eh lonely planet guide and found the cheapest, nearest, decent hostel...the driver took us there and we slept for 2 hours.

7am ish, we walked to the port, saw the sunrise - probably ate some kaya toast or something- or maybe we just wanted to but didnt get time!...and jumped on the boat for around a 2 hour ride to TIOMAN!

Btw, do you remember how the taxi ride was? It was deadly! I sat in front of the driver and he fell asleep!!!
