Just take a look at the pics...need i say more?! - once again a BEAUTIFUL malaysian island!!!

(hmm, well, if ur wondering about our malaysian food-cat 'SIMILAN'...keep wondering, he was the creation of 3 scientific (i.e. less arty) crazy people!)

And should you want a comment or comparison of the perhentian islands with Tioman:

...Both Tioman and the perhentian islands are NOT tacky and less touristy than those of north-west malaysia (from what i hear...i dint go to those for that reason)....Although Tioman is slightly more touristy as it is a fairly popular quick getaway for singaporeans and south malaysians (so i read although noone from work seemed to have head of it, which we all found very odd as its meant to be the 10th best island in the world!!!), the snorkelling in Tioman was definitely better in terms of the colours of fish and variety....NOT at ALL to say that its bad in the perhentians, cuz its still amazing!!! (however, in the perhentian, tobe fair, we did swim with a turtle and nearly touch him - an amazing moment to meet squirt's dad! - and i asked him how old he was!! :p )

The perhentians (which the work ppl definitely hadnt heard about) are much more remote and mainly full of fellow backpackers...the water and electricity was less reliable, although we dint really suffer, as we stayed in a cushy hotel (BUBU) at the end of long beach (£15 each / night!!!!) ...we tried everywhere and it was the only place left on long beach, this is after our one night on coral beach.....and we could see why they called it that!! - u walk into the water and the spiky coral just killed!! - it was like walking over a bed of nails!!! - which led us to find last minute acc in the popular ends! long beach at night was almost pitch black!! - we had to use a torch to venture out to the bars, which were mainly lit with fire lamps and dim lights on the inside! - created a great ambiance tho...well, if aneeka wasn't so scared of the dogs! haha! - awwww!

anyway, all in all, iv decided that malaysian waters are the clearest iv EVER experienced in my life!!! - i couldnt believe my eyes! u MUST visit these islands!!!
