NB: A few of my singi guy mates, namely Anthony, Francesco and Lester joined us for a couple of days in KL and it was great to have them!!!

So...KL.....this is the first place we went where we hadn't done any research as to what to do when we get there!!! - in hindsight, we probably should have, but either way - it wa a fun coupla days, just bumming abou town and seeing what came in our way! we looked in the lonely planet as we went along the way, so at least had a little bit of guided direction....and therefore ended up in places like chinatown (where we bought quite a few cheap dvd's - shhhh - we dint realise it was illegal till the stall suddenly disappeard and stall ppl where nowhere to be seen...and then we saw the police!! - jokes!)

we knew we wanted to see the petronas towers, and as you can see from the pictures, the architecture is magnificant....but the trip up there - what a let down (in my opinion!) - we qued for over an hour at 730am, just to garantee a go up there (bearing in mind we were turned away at 830 the previous morning!) - so obviously we thought it was gonna be good....well, at least we can say we've done it and have a story to tell!!!

we think we ended up in the main square at one point, that's where we took the 'jumping from a fountain pictures'! - think it began with an 'M' !!and then we ended up walking through this massive random park, played some draughts at a free for all draughts table! lol - and when we got out of the other end of the park, there was nothing but open road (a main one with no footpath and the occasional car!) - so we were forced to hail taxi's - to a restaurant, which was closed! lol - oh dear!!!

clearly, we didnt really know what we were doing, and neither did the local, we concluded! lol - i mean, we queued for a rolllercoaster ride in this shopping mall (yes that's right) and when we got to the front, the woman just went away to the toilet, and then went on a ride herself, while we just waited for her to re-open!!! lol - and restaurants took FOREVER to serve!

it was just sooo laid back.....which i suppose isnt a bad thing after all, just a MAJOR contrast when uv been living in organised, efficient singapore for 6 weeks!!!

anyways, the pictures tell teh story here.... (also including little india and the KL tower by night - haha yea, we did a headphone lead tour in that thing - how random!!!)
