I hopped back on a plane in Berlin and took off for Scandinavia to visit my Aussie buddy Simon who lives in Stockholm. Stockholm is clean, beautiful and is built on 6-7 different islands so everything is surrounded by the Baltic Sea. It is also extremely expensive; a burger from McDonalds was 12 bucks! Not that Ive been eating McDs but Ive been comparing them in each country since there are more of them than there are mustaches in Mexico. So far Germany takes the cake with its American mountain range themed burgers. I definitely wouldnt have been able to afford Sweden unless I had a free place to stay. There are museums on every corner, most costing $10-20 each. We spent a weekend at Simons parents place, a tiny líttle farm community of about 500 people and also spent a night out the town in his old college town. Sweden was awesome but Im not going back until I hit the lottery, or in the summer because you can camp legally anywhere in the country - even other peoples property!
