Ok, looks are obviously deceiving and one shouldn't judge a book by its cover, so let's leave that aside. But the interaction of men, in particular groups of men, with women, in particular single or small groups of women, is just shocking.
It's not that they're rude or anything, at least not knowingly, but they are just so... the french would say 'unsophisticated'... We went to this place called Seven Sisters i think, and observed some good Scottish social dynamics. So men, in particular one specimen of them, would just 'simply' walk up to any random decent looking girl, 'crouch first', and start dancing. or trying to. or rather, rubbing his genital area against the girl. just like that. i was shocked and amazed at the same time, about the blatancy of this act! respect for doing this, but really, this is as close as i have seen to an interaction between two monkeys i have seen on TV.
So while we studied a lot of neanderthalers in that place, once we left it, we even saw a group of guys (3 i think) carrying their 'women' on their shoulders, like that coca cola light dude in the advert. Caveme, i though, cavemen!
But it was fun, and maybe they just know how it's done! Shame on me for not trying it out. When in Rome, do as the Romans do...
