So as Nick already described earlier, Broxburn, West Lothian is where we stayed most of the time.

Having just graduated a few days before, i moved up to Scotland to join Nick at his place, to start working on our ideas, to start learning web technologies (remember: nick is the one who created the ur-entrip, then called 'trip', later 'blogdamap' and now, in a much beefed up and revamped version, 'EnTrip'. I am yet to learn all this stuff!)

His place is very very peaceful. I mean it, there are basically no neighbours. Quite different for a city slicker like me, but it was awsome! We went for a run most mornings, along the fields which are sprayed with chicken shit as fertalizer, and his dog joined us, of course!

His father's cooking skills deserve a website on it's own, but for now i shall just give them an exceedingly good mention. Everyday we had a new type of home cooked food (until the day that i missed my flight, when i caught him off guard making something he'd served before ;-)), and it was excellent everytime! I even ate the 'haggis', don't ask what's in it, but it tastes very nice (for those who like meat).

Our first office

So our first office was set up in Nick's sisters room, nick's old room, who moved into his room after he left to london, since her granny moved into her room. Confused? Anways, it was good, we both had our desks, it was bright and spaceous!

I should mention that i didnt bring any sports gear to Scotland, and ran in my boxers every morning as depicted on the right; in case somebody wondered...
